Mother's Day Gifts

Today we spent a lot of time making these necklaces for the boys mom's for Mother's Day.  They helped me make the dough, they put their thumb prints in the dough, they each chose different beads to go on the necklace and wrote their mom's a card.  They each picked a color for the card that they thought their mother would like.  Sadly I forgot to take pictures of all of their cute Mother's Day gifts, so I just got a picture of the one T made for me.  It was a lot of fun and I hope the Mom's like their little gift!

U is for Umbrella! V is for Vegetables!

We were supposed to go to a farm on Friday so we did two letters in one day... the farm didn't pan out, but this totally worked anyway!

U is for Umbrella!!
The boys made rain on their umbrellas.  (Poor Tyler kept sucking up the paint through his straw... ick!)

V is for Veggie's!
They thought it was pretty crazy that we got to use vegetables as paintbrushes!!

(They all loved the "BIG" one!)

D was pretty proud of the brown color that he made!

G loved that the plate would stick to the veggies as he dipped them in!

We had a lot of fun at preschool today!

N and O

Cami's poor family got sick this week and so was unable to hold preschool at her house, so I got the chance to teach again!  This time we learned letters N and O.

Noodle Art for N

L is for Lace! M is for Marsupials!

Today we laced L's for our letter activity.  The boys were so cute lacing their letters!

Snack Time we made Deviled Eggs

On Friday we colored Marsupials for the letter "M" since we were learning about Animals Down Under

Then we reviewed numbers 16-20.  All the boys did a great job matching the numbers!

We followed snack time with a animal hunt where each boy put on his hat and searched for animals in the outback.  When they found one (a picture of the animal) we would stop and talk about it.  They had so much fun they wanted to do it again and again.  But sadly I didn't get any pictures of this.  They were all so cute searching for animals though!!

B is for

BALLOONS!!!

and BUBBLES!!!

The boys practiced writing their names and the letter Bb.

Then we counted to the number 11 (on a BUG).

Today we also learned about opposites.  So for snack we had the most random things ever...

HOT dogs - COLD ice
SOUR limes - SWEET chocolate chips.

I wish I had gotten a picture of Grant's face when he popped that lime in his mouth!  Haha, poor kid.  He did not like that!  But I think the chocolate chips helped save the day!  Daeman informed us all that hot dogs are NOT healthy!  :)  It's the first time I've ever heard him complain about food.  And that really isn't complaining, just stating a fact.

(I did get Kaylee's reaction to the lime, but it wasn't as funny as Grant's.)

And they each made their very own book of opposites.

Fun day at Preschool!

X is for...

Today we were learning about occupations and the letter Xx.  So today we were dentists for snack time. And doctors when we did the project.  Here are some of the boys with their "mouths".

And here is each of them making an x-ray of their hands.  Cute kids!

I think they turned out super cute.
